The new iMac Pro That’s rumored to be released this summer can be quite exciting

But do you actually need this machine?

The rate at which technology is developing is just unbelievable. We’ve just had the new MacBook 14- and 16 inches, and before we can even digest this new Mac line, we’re looking at the release of a new iMac Pro.

I mean, why even bother? Just buy that new MacBook and get it over with. You really don’t need to upgrade your tech every single year. Your 2015 iMac is just fine and will get the job done.

At the end of the day, it’s you who needs to be creative and create something that’s unique. The technology that you own is just a means to an end.

At the end of the day, it’s you who needs to be creative and create something that’s unique.

But that’s not why you clicked on this article

But that’s not why you’re here, so let’s actually talk about the new iMac that’s presumably will be launched this summer at the WWDC in June 2022.

The very first thing that’s remarkably but at the same time kind of being expected is the fact that this iMac will come with a Mini-LED display.

Without wasting too many words on it, Mini-LED is basically an additional backlight to LCD displays. Tiny light bulbs that give an additional light source to the screen.

This way your LCD image will be almost just as good as an image of an OLED display, without the decline of the performance and other complications OLED TVs had in the past.

But There is More

But the Mini-LED display is not the only upgrade that we will see in this new iMac Pro.

As you may have expected, the new iMac may probably also come with a ProMotion 120 Hz display. Since the refresh rate of 120Hz is not always needed, adding ProMotion to it is a must.

I mean, you really don’t need to have a display that’s refreshing 120 frames a second when you're just reading articles on Medium.

But how to control that?

Do you really need to go to your settings and change the refresh rate of your display every time you’re not in need of that much of frames per second?

Well, that’s where ProMotion comes in. Your machine basically knows when it needs to toggle off and on that high amount of refresh rate. You basically don’t even notice it most of the time.

This technology is not new, by the way. We already saw it in the iPhone 13 Pro models and in the 2021 iPad Pro models. That’s the reason why most speculators expect this technology to be added to this new iMac Pro.

And of course Apple’s Silicon M Chip

That’s basically a given. We don’t even have to hear that from insiders. There is no way to expect that the new iMac Pro will come with an Intel chip.

The 27-inch iMac and Mac Pro are basically the single two machines that are powered by an Intel chip, which probably will be seized to exist with the launch of the new iMac Pro this summer of this year.

And that’s basically it

And that’s basically it. That’s all we know from a bunch of insiders and people who like to keep us informed about what will Apple is planning in their secret back rooms.

But remember, this might be exciting and all, but there is one crucial factor when it comes to creating, and that is you.

You can get the most expensive machine and not create anything, or you can get a quite old machine and impress the world with your work.

Which one do you choose to be?
